The Reclusion of Darwin Town

The high noon sun beats down on the little abandon town of Darwin, California a bit west of Death Valley. As we entered only one man, declaring himself the mayor, showed his face in the triple digit heat.  He walked up to the car to inquire if we might happen to have some meth. Disappointed we were fresh out he eagerly offered us some marajuana as some sort of consolation. After hitting on his pipe my strange new friend then offered a tour and showed us proudly around the outpost. As we left he invited us to a party that evening which we regretfully declined. Just an hour in town was enough to get a small series catching the sense of this baron and reclusive place offering a lifestyle which at least the mayor seems to enjoy most thoroughly.
